 Archetypes are like eternal vessels of different shapes. They can be filled with mutable material, shaping the moments of life. Archetypes relate the teller’s story with all the stories ever told, so the beauty of the story is revealed, and the teller and audience can feel connected with the Big Story.

To stress the archetype level of the teller's story, we can invite on stage material from the sources of different levels: the story as it is, personal actors associations, performance-rooted "rhymes", social contexts, cultural backgrounds, rudiments and residues of the traditional culture or archetypes themselves. It is interesting how one can present archetype level on stage. What techniques and instruments are good for this kind of invitation (or rather invocations). And how to choose right moments - in performance ark and in story dramaturgy as well. All this could affect understanding of the stories, role enactment, playback forms, conductor style and strategies, the structure of the performance et cetera. During the home group we plan to look into the topic, to share some techniques and instruments and explore pt forms - traditional and several new ones. Special focus of interest for this home group – cross-cultural aspect of archetypes manifestation.

　原型（アーキタイプ）は異なる形態の永遠の器のようなものです。常に変化するもので満たされ，人生の瞬間を形取ります。原型はテラーにより語られたすべてのストーリーに関連するので，ストーリーの美しさが表れ，テラーと観客は「ビッグストーリー」につながる感覚を得ることができます。テラーのストーリーの原型の面を強調するために，異なる面からの資源を持ち込むことができます。それはつまり，ストーリー自体，個人としてのアクターのつながり，パフォーマンスに基づく韻，社会的状況，文化背景，基本，伝統文化や原型の残余です。どのように原型の面を舞台で示せるかは興味深いことです。このようなことのためには，どんな技術や道具がふさわしいでしょうか。パフォーマンスの流れや，演出において，ちょうど良い瞬間をどう選ぶのでしょうか。こうしたものすべてがストーリーの理解，役割の実行，プレイバックの形態，コンダクターのスタイル，方法，パフォーマンスの構造などに影響を与えます。このホームグループでは，このトピックを探り，技術や道具をシェアし，プレイバックシアターのフォームとして伝統的なものや新しいものを探求します。特にこのグループでは，原型表現の文化的側面に焦点を当てます。

 This group is invited to explore somatic movement. While understanding the principle human body movement, we will find body expression materials. Hopefully we met our own graceful inner and outer movement. And we will explore space, height levels, speed of the movement and then create the stage harmony using them.

　このグループに参加した皆さんは、からだの動きを探っていくことになります。人間の身体的動きの原則を理解しながら，身体表現の方法を見つけていくことになるでしょう。自分自身の内なる動きと外に向かう動き，その優雅さに出会ってほしいと思います。空間，異なる高さ，動きのスピードを探り，これを使って，ステージに調和を創り出していきます。

 Mina Mo is a founder and representative director of the Integrated Life/Art Education Institute Poiesis. She has been doing Playback Theatre since 2000 in Korea and  She is working with educational organ, teaching artists, therapists and disadvantaged people. Including Playback theatre, Somatic movement, body-mind awareness, Expressive art therapy, Forum theatre and NVC converge into her work.

　ライフ／アート研究所ポイエシスの創設者であり代表である。韓国で2000年からプレイバックシアターを行い，教育機関での取り組み，芸術家，セラピスト，社会的弱者への指導に携わっている。プレイバックシアターのほか，からだの動き，身体と心の意識化，表現アートセラピー，フォーラムシアター，非暴力コミュニケーションに関わる活動をしている。からだの動き療法士（ソマティック・ムーブメント）の資格を持ち，非暴力コミュニケーションセンター認定講師，タマルパ研究所韓国（表現アートセラピーに基づく動き）の副所長，大学講師である。

 Under this topic, participants are invited to explore body, awareness and movement. By using some techniques in contact improvisation and somatic education, this homegroup aims to develop participants’ body awareness and spontaneity on stage, to explore improvised dance and movement with expressive feelings, and to increase the aesthetics in Playback Theatre performances.

　このトピックでは，参加者は身体，意識，動きを探求することになります。コンタクトインプロヴィゼーションとソマティック（からだ）教育の技術を使って，参加者のステージ上での身体意識と自発性を育成すること，豊かな感情表現を伴う即興ダンスや動きを探求すること，プレイバックシアターのパフォーマンスをより美しくすることを目指します。

 Jerry Chen (陳正一) is founder and Co-Artistic Director of What’s Play Theatre, Taiwan. He graduated from the Centre for Playback Theatre in 2013. He is a celebrated teacher of Playback in Taiwan, teaching several student and citizen groups. He also teaches and works to facilitate organizational and community development. Jerry is also the Standing Director of the Taiwan Playback Theatre Association.

　台湾の仲花枝玩劇団を創設し，共同芸術監督を務める。 東海大学講師、 2013年にCentre for Playback Theatreを卒業。台湾での有名な講師であり，学生や市民団体の指導を行う。 また，組織や地域社会の発展を促進するために教育したり活動したりしている。 台湾プレイバックシアター協会の常任理事も務める。

 We will create a little family within the big gathering of people at APPTC2017, using this time to meet each other in a deeper way. Finding our common language through Playback Theatre, we will share about why we are here, what is behind us, and what we move towards. This time is also for us to share, reflect on and integrate our experience of what is happening during these days at the conference. What are we learning, what is surprising us, what is exciting, what is hard to bear or understand? How can we support each other step by step towards making our dreams our reality?

　私たちはAPPTC2017という大きな集りの中で，小さな家族を創ることができるでしょう。この時間を使って、お互いに深く向かい合うことができます。プレイバックシアターを通して私たちの共通語を見つけ，私たちはなぜここにいるのか，背後に何があるのか，どこに向かっていくのかについて共有しましょう。この大会で起こった経験を共有し，振り返り，統合する時間にもなります。何を学び，何に驚き，何にわくわくし，何を我慢したり理解することが大変でしょうか。私たちの夢を一つずつ現実にしていくために，どのようにお互いに支え合うことができるでしょうか。

 Veronica Needa 李棫基

From Hong Kong originally, she has now lived in London for 32 years. She found Playback Theatre in 1991 and has followed its calling since then. She graduated from the School of Playback Theatre (NY, USA) in 1995; and is a founder-member of London Playback Theatre, director of True Heart Theatre, and also of the School of Playback Theatre UK. She was president of the International Playback Theatre Network (1997-2003), and until recently was on the Board of the Centre for Playback Theatre (NY, USA). She is an Accredited Playback Theatre Trainer.

　香港で生まれ，32年間ロンドンで暮らす。1991年にプレイバックシアターに出会い続けている。ニューヨークのスクールオブプレイバックシアターを1995年に卒業し，ロンドンプレイバックシアターの創設者でありメンバーである。トゥルーハートシアターとスクールオブプレイバックシアターロンドンの代表である。1997年から2003年まで国際プレイバックシアターネットワーク会長を務めた。最近までプレイバックシアターセンターの役員であった。プレイバックシアタートレーナーの資格をもつ。

 The purpose of the workshop is cross-cultural communication. Have you ever been surprised by a toilet without a door? Or, mesmerized by a “state of the art” Japanese toilet? Through encountering stories told by people who have different mother tongues you may realize unexpectedly your own cultural identities. You, with your own custom and culture, are going to be one of the essential elements of this program. Our stories connect each other through “the experience”, such as being surprised by difference, impressed by something we have in common and so on. Playback Theatre is one of the best tools to help people engage in meaningful dialogue. Let’s talk to each other about our present, past and future. There will be learning, different from that which we can get through the internet, TV or Newspaper. We can create 3 special days full of adventure and exploring.

　このグループでは、背景や境遇が異なる人とつながることに挑戦します。「トイレに入ってみたらドアがない」そんな体験をしたことがありますか？話すことば、暮らすところ、馴染みの食べ物などを異にする人のストーリーに出合うことで、思いがけず自分自身のアイデンティティに気がつくかもしれません。ご自身の習慣や文化を携えてこの場に集まってきた皆さん自身が、このプログラムの大切な構成要素です。互いの違いに驚いたり、意外な共通点に感動したり、行き交うストーリーが私たちをつなぎます。プレイバックシアターは、人々が互いの違いを越えて、深い対話をするのに適した手段です。私たちの現在、過去、そして未来を語り合いましょう。インターネット、テレビ、新聞などのメディアとは、ひと味違う学び方ができる3日間を、そして冒険と発見の3日間を、一緒に創りましょう。

Faculty of School of Playback Theatre Japan(SPTJ). I take an active part in Playback AZ as a conductor, actor and musician. I am invited by groups from all over Japan to give guidance and supervision. I taught “Becoming a fearless and confident musician” in the world conference in Montreal in 2015 and taught an international course in SPTJ in 2016. I am an occupational therapist and apply Playback Theatre to the course of education for occupational therapy students. I am also a mother of 3 children and provide workshops for mothers and kids in my local community.

　スクール・オブ・プレイバックシアター（SPTJ）日本校講師。劇団プレイバッカーズでは、コンダクター、アクター、ミュージシャンとして活躍中。日本各地のグループに対してスーパービジョンもしている。2015年モントリオール世界大会で「効果的なミュージシャン」を、2016年SPTJでは国際コースを指導。作業療法士であり、作業療法士養成課程授業にプレイバックシアターを導入。また、3人の小学生の母でもあり、地域の母親や子どもたちへのワークショップも行っている。

 The group aims at exploring the embodiment of taboos (e.g. sex and violence issues) in

Playback Theatre. It facilitates the participants to share and exchange how they enact these

issues on stage in their cultural context, so that we could learn from one another’s experiences. Besides, I hope to share some techniques that might be useful on stage, as well as exercises that I found useful in enhancing capacity in embodying taboos in training. Indeed, I wish this group can offer a space for us to serve one another with playback.

　このグループの目的は，タブー（セックスや暴力など）の表現を探索することです。自分たちの文化の中で，舞台上でこうした問題をどのように表現するかについて，参加者同士で共有したり，交流したりします。そうすることで，お互いの経験から学び合うことができます。また，舞台上で役立つであろう技術や，タブーを具現化する能力を高めるトレーニングとして有用なエクササイズを共有したいと思います。もちろんこのグループで，お互いのためにプレイバックをする場も提供したいと思っています。

 Kiki Ng joined Encounter Playback Theatre in 2010 and now the Associate Artistic Director of the team. She is going to finish her Leadership by July 2017. She frequently performs with her team, and teaches playback for various communities, including intellectual disability and physically challenged groups. She has been invited to different parts of Mainland China to lead playback workshops for both practitioners and non-practitioners. Kiki is also a theatre and community arts practitioner. As an actress, a playwright, a songwriter and a researcher, she devotes herself in different forms of storytelling, and believes that would brings changes to the World. As a facilitator of playback theatre, community music and circle painting, she seeks to provoke people to embrace their creativity, identities and communities through artistic means. 

　2010年に「エンカウンタープレイバックシアター」に入団し，現在芸術担当補佐である。2017年7月にリーダーシップを修了予定。劇団の公演に出演し，多様なコミュニティでプレイバックを教えている。その中には知的障害や身体的困難を抱える集団も含まれている。プレイバック実践者や実践者ではない人々療法のためのプレイ―バックワークショップを行うために，中国本土の多様な方面から招へいされている。芝居やコミュニティアート実践者でもある。女優，脚本家，作詞家，研究者として，ストーリーテリングの多様な形態に専心しており，これが世界に変化をもたらすという信念をもっている。プレイバックシアター，コミュニティ音楽やサークルペインティングのファシリテーターとして，芸術的手段を通して，創造性，アイデンティティ，いくつものコミュニティを包み込みために，人々をかき立てていこうとしている。

 Playback Theatre offers a platform for stories to be told and heard, to be performed and witnessed. It is wished the audience members and the performers can have an authentic encounter, meeting each other not only face to face but heart to heart. By the time we leave the theatre, we feel connected, enlightened, empowered, inspired and maybe challenged. We are filled with feelings and thoughts.

In this homegroup, we would like to experience the power of authenticity so to create an open environment for meeting and sharing. Together we learn to listen to ourselves and each other, to notice our feelings, thoughts and body, to find our pacing with own self, other performers as well as audiences so that we can be free and authentic.

Who we are, who we are not, we find out from our similarities and differences, and hopefully still we can comfortably be ourselves. 

　プレイバックシアターは，ストーリーが語られ，聞かれ，演じられ，目撃される場を提供します。観客と演じる側は，顔を合わせるだけではなく，心と心が出合うような本当の出会いをすることができます。その劇場を去る時まで，私たちは絆を感じ，啓発され，エンパワーされ，触発されます。そして，チャレンジも感じるかもしれません。感情と思考で満たされます。このホームグループでは，オーセンティシティがもつ力を経験し，出会いと共有のための開かれた環境を作り出したいと思います。私たちは共に，相互に耳を傾け合うこと，自分たちの感情や思考や身体に気づくこと，観客，他のパフォーマー，自分自身と共にあるペースを見出すことをを学び，そうすることで，自由かつオーセンティックでいることができます。私たちは何者であり，何者ではないのか，類似性と違いから見出し，願わくば，それでも自分自身でいることを心地よく感じられればと思います。

 余漢傑 Eddie Yu MA DMT, RDT, DvT, BSW, RSW, PTG

Eddie is Founder and Artistic Director of Encounter Playback Theatre, Hong Kong, co-Director of School of Playback Theatre (Hong Kong), Leadership Graduate of Centre for Playback Theatre. He used to be a Playback Trainer and Leader at HKBGCA, one of the biggest NGOs in Hong Kong serving children, young people and families, as well as the host of Asia Pacific Playback Theatre Conference 2015. Eddie works as honorary lecturer and placement supervisor at Department of Social Work, The University of Hong Kong, and private practice therapist and/ or trainer in Drama Therapy, Playback Theatre, Forum Theatre/ Theatre of the Oppressed, Psychodrama and use of drama in working with people.

 School education in China tends to be rational and rules,Such education is easy for students to become the mainstream of social values, become a "useful" person to society. But when the students leave school, they don't know how to find and create their own happiness,  don't know how to get along with people, don't know when to say "yes" or "no",  don't know how to express love and support in different positions. Playback theater help teacher enable the students to have the imagination in the rules,  Know how to be close to each other even in doubts and difficulties. Playback theatre is the art of leading a happy life, connecting, love, wisdom and courage. This content comes teaching and practice experience of four years of Playback theatre training in Guangzhou, for primary and secondary teachers

　中国の学校教育は，理性主義で規則を重んじる傾向があります。こうした教育は，生徒が社会の価値観の本流に沿うこと，社会にとって「役立つ」人間になるを容易にします。しかし，生徒が学校を卒業したとき，自分自身の幸福をどのように見つけたり創り出したりするのかわからない，どのように他者とやっていくのかわからない，いつ「はい」と言い，いつ「いいえ」と言うのかわからない，違った立場で愛やサポートをどのように表現したらよいのかわからない，といった状況になります。プレイバックシアターは，生徒が規則の中であっても想像力を持てるようにしたい，疑いや困難があっても互いにどのように歩みよるかをわかるようにしたい，と考える先生の助けになります。プレイバックシアターは，幸福な生活，つながり，愛，知恵，勇気を導くアートです。ここでの内容は，広州での4年間に渡る小中学校教員のためのプレイバックシアターのトレーニングの教育と実践の経験から得られたものです。

 郑春晖, Janet Zheng is a founder and Artistic Director of Friends playback theatre, Guangzhou,China. She attracted by playback theatre very much. Belive people can be connected by deep understanding and love. She graduated from the Centre for Playback Theatre in 2015, and she is the first International Playback Theater Network China Representative.

　中国の広州にある「フレンズプレイバックシアター」の創立者であり，芸術担当。プレイバックシアターに魅了されている。人は深い理解と愛によってつながることができると信じている。2015年にCentre for Playback Theatreを卒業し，最初の国際プレイバックシアターネットワーク中国代表である。

 Is the dream part of the real life? We often tell the story together, but rarely share our dream together. Hope in this home group, we listen to the dreams, play with the dreams. Open our imagination and limbs, let the dream break the habit of linear thinking and listen to the story of the core way, welcome you to explore and experience the dream world.Knowing Playback learn and perform dream Playback for nine years. We found that the dream often reflects the inner desire and pressure. After playing our dreams not only to enhance the mutual understanding of the team members, but also to our feelings become more cohesion. The dream always brings us to a variety of different situations, like meeting people, things, and places which we won’t meet in real life, so that we need to open the body to create. We still have a lot of dreams and physical learning need to explore, but also want to share our experience and explore it with you!

　夢は現実の生活の一部分なのでしょうか。一緒にストーリーを語り合うことはありますが，夢を共有することは稀です。このホームグループでは，夢について聴き，夢を演じます。創造力と手足を広げ，夢によって直線的な思考習慣を打ち破りましょう。ストーリーの中心部分を聴き，夢の世界を探索し経験するようお招きします。Knowing Playbackでは，夢についてのプレイバックを9年間学び，演じて来ました。夢は内的な欲求と抑圧を反映することがよくあることがわかりました。夢を演じた後，チームメンバー間の相互理解が深まるだけでなく，より一層の一体感を感じることになりました。夢はいつも，多様な異なる設定を運んできます。現実の生活では起こり得ない，人，もの，場所との出合いであるため，私たちは創造力豊かに，身体をオープンにする必要があります。探求しなければならない夢や身体的な学びはたくさんありますが，同時に，お互いの経験を共有し，それもまた一緒に探求しましょう。

 Hi, I am Yu-Chen From Taiwan. After receiving Playback Theatre training in 2000, I fell in love with it. Even if I had pregnancy, I was keen to learn Playback. I made not only a lot of good friends around the world, but also expanded my vision of life. I am lucky to have many opportunities to share Playback Theatre in different parts of Taiwan. I set up the knowing Playback troupe in 2007, hoping to practice the spirit of Playback theater in the company life. In 2012 we also set up the Taiwan Playback Association, Partners with different teams together to participate, learn, and promote Playback Theatre in Taiwan. 

　2000年にプレイバックシアターのトレーニングを受けた後，恋してしまった。妊娠したときでさえ，プレイバックを必死に学んだ。世界中に多くのよい友人が得られただけでなく，人生に対するビジョンが広がった。台湾のさまざまな場所でプレイバックシアターを共有する多くの機会を得たことは幸運だと思う。2007年にプレイバックの劇団を設立し，劇団の中でプレイバックシアターのスピリットの実践を目指している。2012年に台湾プレイバック協会を設立し，他のチームのパートナーたちと，台湾でプレイバックシアターに参加し，これを学び，推進している。

 What color are you in the rainbow of LGBTQIA spectrum? Recently, Taiwan could be the first Asian country to legalize same sex marriage, but the opponents attempt to create as much social conflicts as possible through amplifying stigma, prejudice and discrimination toward LGBTQIA. We may say the color is RED now in Taiwan. How about your country? Is it against the law for being a LGBTQIA? Is it OK to come out in the society? To find their love and relationship, or to have their own children? Even when you attend this home group, might you worry about others’ view – would they consider me as a lesbian or gay? If you care about the situation and the social issue of LGBTQIA, you are all welcome to join this home group. Let’s use PT to connect each other in personal stories, and the social-political aspects as well. When you are alone it might be weak and lonely, yet we could identify ourselves and feel warm and strong when we are together. Just what we have learned in PT, right? So let us paint our colors and make a rainbow in the APPTC 2017! (LGBTQIA stands for: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual or Ally.)

　LGBTQIAスペクトラムの虹の中であなたは何色でしょうか。最近，台湾は同性結婚を合法化したアジアで最初の国となりましたが，反対派はLGBTQIAに対するスティグマや偏見や差別を強めることにより社会的衝突を作り出そうとしています。台湾では現在赤だと言えるかもしれません。あなたの国ではどうでしょうか。LGBTQIAでいることは違法でしょうか。社会に表明することは問題がないでしょうか。愛と関係をもつことができたり，子どもをもつことができるでしょうか。このホームグループに参加することさえ，自分がレズビアンやゲイだと見られてはいないかと，他の人の目を気にするでしょうか。もし，こうした状況やLGBTQIAの社会問題を気にかけているなら，このホームグループではどなたでも歓迎です。一人でいる時には弱く孤独かもしれませんが，私たちが一緒にいる時，自分が何者かがわかり，温かさと強さを感じます。ちょうどこれは，プレイバックから学んだことと同じでしょう。私たち自身の色を塗り，APPTC2017に虹を作りましょう。

 Shou-Chien Kung is a counseling psychologist who work in National Chiao Tung University, and Chien-Hao Wu is a freelance psychology counselor and psychotherapist who work for children, adolescents and families in schools and social welfare organizations. They are both doing PT since 2005, performing regularly in Even Near Playback Theatre, and leading PT workshops for university students and nonprofit organization volunteers. They believe telling stories in artistic way can improve mental health and community harmony. They and several gay playbackers in Taiwan organized a company named “ ToGayther” which devoted to use PT for LGBT community. ToGayther Playback Theatre also held a workshop performance in APPTC 2015.

　ショウチェン：国立交通大学のカウンセリング心理士。チェンハオ：学校や社会福祉団体で青少年や家族のために活動するフリーランスの心理カウンセラーで心理セラピスト。二人は2005年からプレイバックシアターを実践し，Even Near Playback Theatreで定期的に公演し，大学生や非営利団体のボランティアのためのプレイバックシアターワークショップを行っている。芸術的方法でストーリーを語ることが，精神的健康とコミュニティの調和を向上させるという信念を持っている。台湾のゲイのプレイバック人たちと共に，「ToGayther」という劇団を作り，LGBTのためのプレイバックシアターの活用を推進している。ToGaytherプレイバックシアターは，2005年のアジア太平洋大会でもワークショップを行った。
